Traktor 2024 outlook

@Friedemann_NI I do understand how implementing new things work and I'm glad you shared some info about it. I also do understand that it's not an easy task.
You have to consider that we wait for those features for a really (really³) long time and that we need some transparency and actual info.. Is that going to be a private Beta? Where do we sign up (if possible)? You know that we want those features (some are a wish for more than I've been in the DJ game) and giving us crumbs of information unfortunately does not look good. I come to the forum every day for the past few months only to see there's nothing new about the most requested features. There is a lot of people that really like your product and do not want to jump ships over 1-2 features that some other companies have..
Can you at least give us an ETA of anything?

This is the most important issue !!!!!

Forget it!!! Nothing will be said here and nothing real will come. Except things that no DJ needs, like the platter. Unfortunately !!! Better look around for something else! I would recommend Denon DJ!

If you have nothing to say, just say nothing and stay in the Denon DJ (Engine DJ) forum 😉 You don't need Traktor when you use a standalone unit.

Will invite you to any drink you want <3

You guys should know that Tidal is introducing a "DJ extension" requirement soon, so you will no longer be able to use Tidal for DJing at the normal consumer subscription price of $10.99
The DJ extension is an extra $9 (so total $19.99) but does bring back stem separation, which was removed a while ago, and also includes offline storage.
The beatgrid thing is good news, if it's as good as Algoriddim DJay Pro 5.

Might be healthy to have realistic expectations.

Yes. I kept thinking that is the worst graphic especially compared to some of the instrument and Sound Packs.

launching a private beta for these soon.

Are you sure that offline storage of tracks is possible - where did you get the information?
Otherwise I think the price increase is a disgrace! With Stems they are only bringing back a feature that was already free.
Luckily there are alternatives :)

@viper9711 the ability to download Tidal tracks to cache has been available in VirtualDJ for some time now.
Around the same time that Tidal removed stem access, Atomix implemented the requirement to be using the higher HiFi Plus subscription, along with offline storage. They removed the HiFi Plus requirement shortly afterwards because it hadn't been introduced by other vendors.
Tidal have swapped things around a little with the naming etc but the cache and stems are now part of the DJ Extension.

Smart move to rob people, with enough people to respond.
Everyone remember that there is only one direction when it comes to subscriptions, namely increasing prices over time!

@Heisenberg Nobody's being robbed. They don't take the money unless you agree to it.
It's less than a dollar per day. Buying music is far more expensive.
