Maschine+ Power Bank guide

Literally just purchased this mobile power setup, the Omni 20+ and the 15V 5A cable from PiHut. Looking forward to getting this set-up. Thanks for providing the info (+everyone else in the thread), it has been an awesome source of info 🙏🏼 (And no bickering too...which is nice 😅)

That surely would work, but as already stated a couple of posts above:

• you have to carry around your AC adapter which is another bulky heavy piece to keep in your backpack
• you can not keep the adapter installed in your studio hidden under the desk
• you can not order replacement adapters for the M+ from NI, so it’s going to be a tedious process if the original is lost or broken

Yes, you're in the club! Now you need a 15V PD cable (essential, to tell the PSU to supply 15V as the M+ can't do that) with correct size and polarity of barrel connector.

@sebastiancookie Yes that looks just the ticket. Correct barrel size (internal and external) and polarity.

In fact that's exactly the same one I'm using.

A year and a half later, how did the 100W battery perform and hold up with your Maschine? Also, any issues with the 15V 3A cable (warming, shorting, etc.)?

Thanks for the report! What cables are you using? Is the S49 powered from the USB port of the M+?
