Has NI Lost It's Way?

Minor correction, silicone is used to seal windows, bathtubs and make... human enhancements. Silicon is what is used to make semiconductors. So yes Apple started making their own silicon when they switched from Intel to ARM.

I got rid of most of my NI stuff-Traktor, Maschine Mk 3 hardware (except my mikro). Haven't used Maschine in years. Was just messing around today with it. So many options out right now outside NI. The Arturia keyboards are great, as with the Arturia instruments/Effx. I think on the production tip the market has changed. I think as far as production many DAW's have added key features (things we want in the maschine standalone software) for modernized music production ex. Logic, Studio One, and FL. I never thought I'd be using FL with it's signature Novation keyboard. It's so fast at creating, and fun. The two executives that left NI for Image-Line have done a great job.

I would get the MPC, and Arturia's stuff. Also, think if it's something you use a lot. After I while I just stopped using Maschine, Traktor, and even Komplete (only used Kontakt 3rd party libraries really).
