Is Native instruments delivering S88 mk3 now?

I am still waiting on mine. I pre-ordered through Sweetwater in late November. How did @Jeremy_NI help you out to get your Kontrol S88 mk3? Hopefully, Sweetwater will ship soon. About two weeks ago, Sweetwater team said it might ship this week, but unsure it will at this moment.

Beside waiting for my order, how is the keyboard? Any issues?

I have no idea where they're at with their shipments now. I ordered at the beginning of October from a retail store in Canada and received it on December 28th. The date was pushed back a few times, but it was worth the wait. The only "issue" I've encountered is with my Yamaha FC3A continuous pedal. The polarity is reversed, and switching it on the keyboard doesn't work. NI is aware of this, and they're looking into a solution. Luckily, I have another pedal for the time being. Other than that, I love it. I've owned the s61 Mk1 and Mk2, and the keybed is night and day. I find myself playing piano more than producing these days. If we're talking strictly about what it's advertised to be capable of and the build quality, I'd do it all again and would wait an extra month.

Yeah, it looks like a need to checkup with Sweetwater again. My guess that U.S. orders or Sweetwater themselves are later in the back-orders in the shipping list. Time will tell.

Good to know. I almost pulled the trigger to get the s88 mk2 in summer, but I am glad I am waiting for the mk3. Cool! Sounds the piano is inspiring you to not just use it for producing, but playing as well. I am hoping the same as well. I grew up playing the piano and will be be getting back into it once my order arrives.

It will definitely feel like playing a regular piano. I used to play growing up, but I appreciate it more now. I have countless piano VSTs, but the one that plays best and feels best for me is layering the Ravenscroft 275 by UVI and the Grand Ant. Petra Soft from Pianoteq 8, combined with a little reverb from Fabfilter's Pro-R 2. It sounds more natural than Valhalla's Vintage Verb. Music to my ears... Good luck!

Cool! I'll check those VST pianos and reverb plugins out. I am fan of Native Instruments Noir piano with stock Daw reverb and delay plugins on aux tracks to add more of a dreamy feel to it. Thanks. I am going to reach out to Sweetwater this week about my order delay.
