Maschine+ vs Maschine MK3 (when using both connected to a Laptop)

Yeah i know Fred again and his boilerroom set. That's fingerdrumming on a Maschine, while DJ'ing with Pioneer CDJs.

I know this might be getting into a semantics discussion, but as a DJ myself, i feel it's important to understand about the classic art of DJ'ing, and what it is, and what it isn't.

I guess Reinier Zonneveld is a better example: he always uses a Maschine with Ableton, and additional hardware gear, and plays for hours and hours. He always states that he was never a DJ, always a live performer, performing his own tracks, and remixing other peoples tracks on the fly/live.

Anyway, i feel it's important that if someone wants to get into DJ'ing (which i totally support of course!) it's important to understand about the art of DJ'ing. Just the same as i always cringe when people call producers giving great live performances "DJ's". I guess it's my personal hangup ;P

There is a Live+Maschine Template floating around in the Forums (Initially for the Mikro mk3 but supposedly works for Maschine mk3 and M+. I haven't tested it myself, but I know it exist.
