Maschine+ compatible audio interfaces thread

Yeah my iConnectAudio4 works fine when the m+ is the master when using single USB or double USB when additionally connected to a OSX computer. But when connecting a M+ with my MPC or iPad, I get occasional glitches, especially when loading an instrument or project on the M+. I now get round this with two old RME babyfaces connected together with ADAT.

Thanks for sharing the insights. In that case I will have to try connecting my MacBook Pro instead of my iPad Pro and see if it solves the problems. But still, the M+ should be the audio clock master, which shouldn’t be the case.

Is there anyone who has tested the Behringer Flow 8 ?
Thx

Just update my experiences with a RME babyface gen1 and Maschine+
Works great for a budget 2nd interface. if your going to adat (in my case a umc1820 connected to an iPad), it’s also bus powered and that’s convenient. No glitches, really clean signal. But the analogue I/o count of the babyface is limited.
caveats. When connected to the Maschine+ the babyface is in standalone mode. This means that the routing is set to default. Adat out from the m+ works great. But with the gen1 (and I don’t know with the others), there is no control in configuring the I/o matrix from the hardware, and no memory to save any routing.

So you did experience the same issues as many others with the interface automatically disconnecting after a couple of minutes? And did you do any software or firmware updates for one of them?

All devices at latest firmware, no issues with it disconnecting (that I got with the iConnect devices - although playing with the settings of the iCA4a fixed that but not the audio artefacts when loading new devices on the m+ that I guess was a CPU spike issue effecting the clock). The RME and umc1820 were the most stable CC audio interfaces devices I have used across multiple different grooveBoxes.

I should give the Audio4C another try with the latest 1.5 update, as it did work flawlessly before when the audio clock was set to external.
No problems at all with two different iPads, a MacBook Pro and Windows PC.
On the other end the M+ also didn’t work with my Focusrite 18i8 3rd edition. It did work with an old Focusrite Solo, a simple 44/16 2 ch interface.
Maybe some spare time during the holidays…

Hey there,
good news:
Audient ID 44 MK1 works stable and solid on the M+ since the Update 1.5

Wait... But it did not work before? This would indicate that something has changed in regards to interfaces.

No,
it doesn‘t work before the Update. There were Soundcrackles and the Beatz were Played very Slow .
now After the Update 1.5 it works stable and solid without any issues.

maybe they bumped the kernel version

Not the first time that an upgrade, rollback and/or reinstall solved issues on a computer type device.
