My mod and pitch wheels on Komplete Kontrol s61 Mk2 stopped working overnight
I bought this controller second hand and everything worked when I hooked it up. A couple of weeks later, my mod and pitch wheels entirely stopped working. They aren't even sending midi information so far as I can tell (no dot in logic when I move them). Am I missing something?

@vonbieker If you open Komplete Kontrol in standalone, do the pitch wheel and modwheel work? If they do, then it's most probably a setting in Logic, there are a lot of MIDI assignments possible in there. If you don't find the setting you can also reset Logic to it's default preferences. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT200260
If the wheels are not working in standalone, then check MIDI activity: How to Monitor the Input of a MIDI Controller
Check if it happens on another computer, if it does get in touch with our hardware department: https://bit.ly/NISupport_Hardware

How do you use the keyboard? In controller mode or midi mode?

Thanks @Jeremy_NI - I was able to download MIDI Monitor and check there (since it was happening in standalone Komplete Kontrol as well). Sadly - NO data comes through when I move the pitch and mod wheels. The touch strip underneath works fine. I'll try on another computer just to be sure.

Well - seems the issue is the same on the other computer (Intel MacBook Pro) @Jeremy_NI. Strange because this has been only sitting on my desk and worked fine a couple of weeks ago. The mod and pitch wheels feel fine from the outside, they just don't seem to send any data. Same issue in both MIDI mode and Controller mode I believe @LostInFoundation

Did you update to latest Controller Editor in the meantime ? or tried another USb cable ?

I'd never even heard of Controller Editor - good to know! Having a look now.

yes very important for versatility. though it might also be coming from Komplete Knotrol or Maschine installation which both install the hardware drivers, though this procedure is kind of handle by differnt NI programs and could cause conflict sometimes.
Try maybe a clean Komplete Kontrol instal and probablmy try different versions of it snce it recently dropped support on itself

Seems Controller Editor doesn't "see" my keyboard - the "connect" button is grayed out - which I assume I need to apply edits?

Controller editor doesn't work for MkII though

It won't - controller editor is only for Mk1 keyboards and Maschine hardware

Ah OK - thanks.
So - I did get the pitchwheel to work for a few minutes - sort of (control seemed loose but doing something). Then I changed the touch strip to pitchblende in Kontrol settings to see how it SHOULD be reacting on the given instrument - once I did that I couldn't get the pitch wheel to do anything no matter what. It's like there's a software conflict between the touch strip and pitch wheel or something. Problem is, I can'd find any way to change what the pitch and mod wheels do in an NI software. Where would I edit the behaviour of the Pitch and Mod wheel on a MK2 - they seem the only controls with NO adjustments available on any setting screens (I can see settings for pedals and every other button it seems).
