Why is there no performance in KK with NI instruments but preview and other VST3s perform?

2019 Mac Intel machine OS Montery 12.7.1. Using KK in SA or with DAW (Logic or SO6), KK will play preview sounds from all instruments having a preview but when K7 instrument selected and loaded will not perform from any MIDI controller (screen KB, Machine2, or MK2 S61). But, when I use say Massive X, FM8, Korg, or ROLI instruments in KK they exhibit normal performance ie sound output and controlled by all MIDI controllers selected. All SW up to date. Weird. Thoughts?

    The audio output meters indicated an output. The problem was the output of K7 and K7 only was routed to 63,64 stereo pair and not 1,2 like normal. When in SA K7 ouputs were and are correctly routed to 1,2. Very weird because I use multi outs only for drums and have never gone beyond 23,24 for output pairs.

    Can you post a screen from the options menu, and we might be able to suggest a solution.

    What do you mean by options menu? Do you mean preferences?

    What about if you open Kontakt in standalone? Do you get sound there?

    Do you have the correct audio device set in K7 -> Settings -> Audio?

    What audio device is selected in Komplete Kontrol? What device is selected in the standalone Kontakt?

    Can you open Komplete Kontrol in standalone, click on View, Edit View?

    If you click on the onscreen keys, do you get sound? If you click on the little i logo, what MIDI channel is shown?

    No sound from on screen keys.

    I have tried OMNI and PORT A which both work for Massive FM8 Absynth Korg Ujam etc but not NI instruments like session players, any of the drummers, dual layer synths etc.

    This is a new problem after years of perfect functionality that has no root cause like an update or software additions. K7 works just fine in SA and in all DAWs.
