[FIXED BY LOGIC 10.8.1] MIDI note doubling issue with Komplete Kontrol 3.0.3 and Logic Pro 10.8

this has completely ruined chord mode for me. yes the duplicate note exists, but have y'all looked into this?

in easy chord more 1-3-5 for example, now that its recording the midi information the 1st and 5th key are played as chord while the 3rd note is silent.

it sounds fine when im playing on my keyboard, but once I play it back in logic it sounds terrible.

screenshots show how the chord should be played and the one with midi notes shows how logic is playing the 1 and 5 as chords simultaneously

@Matthew_NI is this apart of the issue being discussed or is this something new y'all need to look at?

There are some very funny things going on as a result of Logic's latest update. If you have several Midi tracks already recorded and you start to record a new track, if you look at the Piano Roll, as you record the new track the "notes" from one or more of the other tracks appear on the piano roll in addition to the notes you are playing on the selected track. One you stop the recording the other tracks notes disappear from the piano roll leaving just the ones you have just played on the selected track - with , of course duplicated notes. It's a B....y mess!!!

Hi - I have been following this thread from the beginning. I was waiting to upgrade to Logic 10.8 given issues but forgot that I had auto-update on, so version 10.8 was installed on my Macbook M1 pro.

I have an S61 controller MK2 and KK 3.0.2 installed. I tried working with older logic projects and no issues with doubling of notes. I tried new projects and no issues neither.

So may be this problem does not affect S MK2 controllers ? Anyway, just sharing in case this helps.

ok I see it now when I move notes in the piano roll. They are in deed duplicated.

You can't hear it when you play the part back so does it affect the mastering or final bounce of a project ?
