making a bunch of samples "one shot" : problem
I dragged a bunch of audios into the Kontakt (version 5) mapping editor. Each one on one key. I would like to have them all to play as "one shots".
I selected them all, then switched on "Sample Loop 1", then selected "One Shot", then ran "to all selected zones >copy current zone's loop settings". I have also bypassed the Modulation-section.
But it does not work. What should I do differently?
(This is with Kontakt 5 on Windows 10. Is this maybe a bug of this old version?)
Thanks.

Hello,
you simply disable the sample loop function/tab totally, then you raise everything except attack or insert the flexible envelope and also raise hold value and times too except, again, attack. Ohh and before you select all samples in the mapping editor for example.

Thanks Uwe, but honestly I hardly understand what you mean :)
Could you please explain in a bit more detail for the stupid. Thanks.

No problem, you right click on the desktop icon of native access and select "start as administrator" or something like that, then you try again to update.

Danke.

Pls here only in english, the forums code of conduct demands it and it is for other people with the same problem. They might find this thread and can then read the solution in english.

I use this a lot with no problems.
Make sure that one of the selected zones is "current" i.e. has a yellow box round the edge, as well as being coloured yellow.

Thank you Stephen24!
Unfortunately, it doesnt help. There is indeed one zone "current" (yellow box around it) - and all zones are yellow. But still, it doesnt work. Only the one, that was the "current one", stays in one-shot mode.
What I noticed is, that when I switch on "sample loop" on any of the other zones (the ones that didnt get the one-shot-mode), they are in one-shot right away. But this would mean, that I need to manually switch them all on at Sample-Loop.
What can I do??

I forgot to mention - you must delete any volume envelopes. And you don't need to switch Loops on.

Yes this works but then you'll have to press the key as long as you want the sound to hear, strange behavior in my opinion but maybe I'm overlooking something here, that's why I then just raise all values in the envelope except the attack value, this I yet all the way down.

No you won't. (That's the whole point of "one-shot".)

But if I delete the volume envelopes it behaves like that, of course it makes no sense, but the behavior is like that, at least if I try it
