Using a modifier key to change the color of a button on a Xone K2

I am trying to create a new mapping for Traktor Pro and I am facing the following issue.

  • If the deck C is playing the button A color is green
  • If the deck C is stopped the button A color is red
  • I have created a modifier key (M2) so when it is pressed the function of the button A is HOT CUE 1 on deck C. Also, when M2 is pressed the color changes to yellow.
  • If I press M2 the button turns yellow if I press it and then press M2 again, the color changes properly, but if I don't press the HOT CUE 1 function and press M2 multiple times it remains the same color.

Any help would be appreciated.

Here is a link with an example mapping for play/pause deck C (M2=0) and HOT CUE 1 deck C (M2=1) to test.

You can only change the colour of a K2 LED if you insert an intermediate step (with it's own modifier condition) that changes the LED state of the previous colour to the OFF state. K2 LED's are tricky. I will have a look when i find the time and post an example solution to your problem unless you solve it on your own first.

Thanks for your response, really appreciate it. I am still trying different things but without success. Looking forward to your example :))
