Do I need to install a driver for Micro MK3?

I keep seeing people online in NI forums and around talking about a Maschine Micro MK3 driver, like in the context of a single driver outside of native access install. Should I be downloading and install a driver? I just got the Miscro MK3 yesterday, so still getting used to it all. I plugged the serial number in Native Access and installed Maschine 2 software and everything else that showed up. When I open Maschine 2 my Micro lights up and I can hit pads to launch sounds... so is that all? Or do i need to be downloading and installing driver and firmware to be fully current, etc.?
