Can't import sound files to Battery

I want to import my own sounds to Battery but nothing is showing up under "Workspace". I know normally external harddrives show up but I'm no longer using any. Is there a way for my internal harddrive can show up? Or can I just drag an audio file into there somehow? Attaching screenshot.

    @plotkin What's your OS? What format is your external hard drive? Is that also happening in Battery 4 in standalone? Make sure to give Full Disk Access to Battery and your DAW: How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

    There was an update for Battery 4 on January 9th, did you do this update and did it fix the issue?
