As far as I have tested, it doesn't matter how long (in seconds) you wait after booting the M+ and loading the Project. It is as if some synth engines are not fully initialized before a first note is played.

I'm certainly not holding my breath. Went and got a Roland MC101 and am using that for bass, and synth sounds. I will test to see if the midi output of the Maschine + hiccups, or if it's just the sound engine. I'm guessing it's just the sound engine, but if not, I can record the midi into the MC101 if needed.

To me it really sounds more like an audio glitch than a sequencer timing issue. I don’t think it has anything to do or is observable on MIDI.

@Jeremy_NI this is really a show stopper for live use of the M+. Please forward this issue to the support team for further investigation. I can provide the bug ID if required.

This is a wonderful example of the manufacturer acknowledging the customer and customer also respecting manufacturer by being realistic about the gravity of the issue as it pertains to the product.

This issue is definitely not overblown in it's gravity--it is certainly NOT how a professional, expensive product should behave in normal use. Props to everyone on both sides for pushing this one forward! I still have faith in Maschine+!!!
