That is correct. The LED's on the Pad Mode buttons are not accessible via midi. Although one could program actual pads to display different colors for the orientation.

the biggest difficulty I find is to assign the specific 8 pads to the hotcue mod button or the 8 beat jump pads to the beatjump mode button. so for all 4 buttons located on the pads . is there a way to do this?
