New machine / auth inq.

Hi all

I am not there yet, but I will eventually be building a new W11 machine. I am not concerned about my library content; everything is on non-OS physical drives, so I will take those drives over to the new machine.

My Q is about authorizing everything. Although I don't have as much as some people; I have a lot of stuff. How best to handle the auths for each lib? Do I really need to enter the serial # for each of the many libs individually, and then tell NA where is lib is located? I am thinking there must be a better way.

Hi @RiffWraith there's no need to enter the serial for each library. If the content is on the external drive, you only need to click to relocate before installing. :) Please find more info here:

What external drive - not sure what you are talking about there.

So, all I do is launch NI, and click "install all", and all the libs will be installed?
