Kontakt 7 Player...What's Going On?

Kontakt 7 Player is hijacking instances of (full version) Kontakt 6 instruments in my previous Maschine projects and putting them into DEMO mode. I even went ahead and unchecked "use latest version of NI plug ins" in Preferences before I installed it, thinking that would keep that from happening.

Is this normal behavior or am I missing something?

    You can only use Full version of Kontakt or Player but not both at once.
