Yeah running the S49 Mk2 off of the M+ bus power. I don't think it would work with a Mk3 since they need USB-C PD.

You should be fine but I would not risk going with that powerbank, they do not list all the possible voltage outputs on the product page so there's no way to know 100% if it can do the 15V.
I'd email the brand and ask, or ask in the question box of Amazon or simply search for a powerbank that lists the power profiles. There's a ton of contradictory information online about this, some say:
"if it says "45W" or more that means it can output 3A@15V"
While others say the above is just an 'in theory' statement based on the company really following the PD standard correctly.

It says it has PD 3.0 which means that it can do 15V 3A. Even PD 2.0 from 2014 can provide 15V 3A.

Indeed… The thing about these PD/USB/Whatever standards is they aren't enforced, so you basically have to either have the specs listed or trust the company to follow the standard to a tee and we all (should) know how that goes on Amazon products that are mostly from Alibaba or whatever with different logos stamped on them.
If the M+ itself made by NI (a reputable brand) was supposed to be USB-Audio class-complaint and it ended up not being either because of NI or Audio Interface manufactures, then i for sure wouldn't trust random cheap powerbank, theres 99% chance it works but is that 1% risk worth it? What if it only delivers 12V and then the user cant use external devices with their M+? 🤷♂️
I'd feel responsible if someone went out and used a powerbank that just so happens to skip 15V and goes straight to 20V and fries their 1000$+ M+ just cause I said "hey it's all good, go ahead bro"

I'm a bit nervous about just randomly searching, and many of the recommendations in this thread are for units that no longer exist.
Are there any current 'sure thing' options on Amazon?

Ugreen seems trustworthy and they list the full specs, it's available on UK Amazon too, its a bit overkill for the M+ but would be my choice for a versatile powerbank.

It's the cable that determines the voltage, not the powerbank. That's why that specific cable is required - the PD chip in the cable tells the power bank what to do.
You could always email Addtop to confirm (and a prompt reply is a positive thing) but it's up to you el-bo

I’ve also thinking about ordering a powerbank. I have other devices (volcas, UNOs) I would like to connect, so tried to find something with a bunch of outputs.
This is the one I found offers me the best bang for the buck.
Can you guys confirm this is fine for the maschine+ and will not fry my device? 😅

Not suited for the M+ as it doesn‘t provide 15V.
You need a power bank that offers 15V with 2.66A (or more).

Shame to learn of those recalls. Anker is generally a reputable brand, so I guess this is just one of those things.
I've had the Nexode in my cart for a while. Unfortunately, it's outside my budget at the moment.
