    I installed the M1 version of Native access on my Mac mini M2 Pro. The basic bits are supposedly M1 native now. Why are NTKDaemon and com.native-instruments.NativeAccess.Helper2 still running in Rosetta? I'm trying to eliminate all Rosetta requirements from my new Mac. These two and CarbonComponentScannerXPC appear to be all I have left.

    Hi Forum. I didn't take the time do read ALL posts in this thread...but;

    Could it be possible that there is a difference between making a FRESH install of Ventura, or making UPDATE to Ventura (From any previous version)? ?

    I have MAJOR issues with Komplete14 on my FRESH Ventura-install at the moment! NOTHING seems to work as it should! I personally think that Native Access(app) doesn't have enough privileges to "set a path for install..." or something. If I change paths in settings, it doesn't SET the path accordingly, even if it says ok. AND - many of the paths I try to set are refused, all along! I have even tried to give read&write permissions for "everyone", but STILL, there seems to be a weird glitch, somehow. Thank goodness, I don't have pressure to use my NI stuff, at the moment. But it sure as hell is annoying! And, it most probably isn't NI's fault... Sigh.

    -Latest Native Access

    -External SSD (APFS)

    @Raphael Vang Well,from your description, I would check that both Native Access and the NTKDaemon have Full Disk Access, like in this article: Native Access Error Message: "Installation Failed" (Mac)

    Hey Mark,

    Quick question, what spec is your Mac mini M2 Pro, going around in circles with this at the moment?

    @Mark Moorcroft These are still needed to activate a couple of products but soon Native Access and the NTKDaemon will be 100% ARM ready.

    Native Access is very buggy. I'm loading up a new Mac Studio. Ventura and a 2 TB hard drive. It will load 2 or 3 then it freezes and tells me to restart NA or try restarting my computer. This is not a good way to install such a large program suite. I have gone and set my privacy settings as suggested. No love there. So I'm doing it one by one, which is just crazy. You need to fix this.

    @Steve Shepherd When I loaded all my stuff on my new MacBook last week I was able to relocate some items but a large portion had to be re-downloaded which takes a long time and in some cases gives a failed download attempt. I am finally down to downloading session horns 2 which I believe is almost 30 gigs and the preview sound file which is 8 gigs. Then there was the issue with expansion art not showing. I still have some with no art work.... looking at my back up files to see if those images are available....... Long story short this definitely is a painful process.......

    I am wanting to upgrade my ageing macbook to a new m2 or m2pro. I'm guessing I have to run ventura or at least they will have ventura out of the box now. Looks like everything I want is on is on the silicon list https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/360014683497-Apple-Silicon-Compatibility-News

    but lots are missing from the ventura list

    https://support.native-instruments.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000421737-macOS-13-Ventura-Compatibility-Statement . I have maschine and komplete 12 so I really want kontack 6, massive and massive x to work. Can anyone confirm?

    I recently bought a M2 Max 16in MacBook and everything you mention works just fine. I had an issue with Kontakt 7 but I was able to resolve that issue with no compromises. So I can confirm Maschine 2, Komplete Kontrol, Kontakt 6 and 7 do work with Ventura. I kept my old intel MacBook on Monterey just in case Ventura didn't work. The M2 upgrade from intel is awesome as well.

    Thanks @Tigersharc . What was the issue with kontakt 7? I might upgrade to komplete 14 midyear but getting a new computer will clean out the bank for a while. Just trying to get back into some music production after a few years away. I am happy with the stuff I have but looking forward to having quite a bit more cpu horesepower
