How to get Komplete Kontrol to work in rosetta mode in logic

when I run version 2.8 in standalone mode and set it to open using rosetta, I'm able to get all my vst2 and vst3 plugins available. But when I open logic and open up Komplete Kontrol I cannot get it to do the same thing. All I can see are the vst3 plugins.

I have set logic to open in rosetta mode, and restarted, but it seems that Komplete Kontrol only ever opens the silicon version inside logic.

Is there any way to get the plug in to open only in rosetta mode?

I am running an M1 Max Apple Studio, that is currently on Monterey.

Actually logic wasn't running in Rosetta mode. I was launching it from Alfred, but when I double clicked it directly from the applications folder it was in rosetta mode and Komplete Kontrol opened as expected
