Access Macro's in Maschine with s49mkii

I can't find how to control my Maschine software Macro's on the s49 mkii controller. It looks like it's only possible from the Maschine hardware. Is that true? Or am I missing something?

    Since then, have you found an answer?

    Because indeed no macro display on the kk s49mk2 on the M+, but not on the machine software either, so is it normal?

    Haven't found any solution yet? Pity indeed, given that s49mkii firmware never got past v0.9 and it already is replaced. And Machine updates seem to take ages.

    it seems that NI no longer wants KK integration with Maschine, 

    However here we are simply talking about a display update, it's a little frustrating because it's a great combo with the M+ and with maschine software .
