Battery 4 skipping/dropping/missing MIDI notes

Ive been using Battery 4 for a couple years in my ProTools DAW and I never had an issue. Now I am getting missed or dropped samples from kits that I have used millions of times. I did update my OS to Monterey but don't suspect that to be the issue.

Any ideas??

I have 32GB - 4Ghz Quad Intel Core i7 - PT 12

Since you did upgrade the OS, you may need to adjust "Disk Access" permissions as outlined in this article.

How to Enable Full Disk Access on macOS – Native Instruments (native-instruments.com)

Well this didn't seem to fix the issue. Is the a polyphonic note limit? Maybe I accidentally hit something cuz it never did this before?? Dunno

There is a Voice limit indicator in the header....and each cell has a Voice Limit setting (Setup tab for the cell under "Voice Groups").

Voice limit Header has 32 and the cells have 32 under setup tab for each cell....🙄

@pete sallis So this is only on playback, right ? Does it happen all the time or in certain projects? Or when using certain samples or kits? Where are these samples stored on your computer?

It happens across projects. It does seem to miss notes with certain samples. Is there a way to test it ? I also updated my OS a month or so back and that might be when it started....

Ok, so it happens with certain samples, are these factory library samples or your own and where are they stored on your computer ?
