HELP! My traktor (scratch) is practically breaking and shattering all my audio files!!

situation:

I put my audio files in various usb ( mp3 and WAV too )

then i start to djing and there is no problem, when i finish the set i close traktor.

the next day, i open the traktor and i put the same usb, all the files i used yesterday are broken.

some ar broken (with gliches and rare sounds on it), some are practically non existent, some are heard to de middle of the song and then breaks...

i tried a lot of usb and files too, putting new files each time.

i tried to play the files directly from the usb / itunes... , but the broken files are always unrecoverable.

in the settings (on file management), i have on the option (do not write any tags to files)

if someone has any ieda i will appreciate it a lot !! thanks

Hello,

can you try it with another music player, like VLC player. As far as I know traktor just reads the files normally, of course writes something if you edit tags. It could be a connection issue. And also try to save the files,if you can, as backup.

im going to try this but the proble happens to me with all my usb ( I have 4 ), i dont think its a usb problem

i have 2 usb with MS-2(FAT 32) and 2 more with MacOS plus

now i tried with VLC player and still broken

it does not worry me the broken music because i have a bakup, but i hope to solve it and dont have to replace all my files each time i have a sesion😓

Assuming you mean flash drives, are they reputable brand name devices or just the cheapest ones you could buy? Are they all the same or different makes?

What about the files themselves? Where are you sourcing them?

Is there any reason why you're not playing the files directly from your computer's hard drive? Have you tried doing that?

If it happens also with vlc then it´s not traktor, i guess it´s the socket. can you try another one. or if you use a usb hub change it.

hi, i use a pair of kingston and sandisk too, i don't have much space in my laptop because i have various programs for producing, plugins etc, i have a lot of music too and i try to optimize my espace saving my music in a sdd card.

the music i have is buyed , downloaded or produced by me, so i dont think is the problem.

but yes im going to try to copy a folder directly to the computer let's see if it continues breaking the files.
