New hardware planned?

I wanted to know if there will be new DJ hardware in the near future. I own the S8, but now the displays have failed and the controllers are no longer the newest after 8 years. Since the software is still being updated diligently, a hardware refresh should also be included. Maybe even with a separate microphone channel, or even stand alone? I've been with Traktor since 2004 (then Stanton Final Scratch) and don't want to change. But software without hardware then makes no sense.

They said they are "working" on new Hardware a few month back. But we don't know what or when. I would not bet on anything 2022.

And if they are working on the hardware as fast as they are working on Traktor I bet it will be 2024 the earliest.

I don't see it coming because it probably won't sell very well. About every turntablist DJ has switched to Serato.

I've pretty much lost hope for any official Traktor integration with 3rd party hardware, particularly in respect to proper HID platter support on devices like the Rane One, DDJ REV7, Denon SC6000m & Phase DJ. Afer courting us turntablists with the Audio 8 and Traktor Scratch, we've pretty much been left to stagnate since the Z2 mixer which means leaving Traktor to use the latest gear.

i am a traktor user since 2010 , 13 years old . I think traktor is focusing on producers and not on club djs. now he has abandoned club DJs. I'm seriously considering switching to serato.

Go for it.

If you want new hardware there is currently no good reasons to stay with traktor. Unless you want to map yourself or relay on 3rd party mappings.
