I have Native Instruments Komplete latest. Full Suite but not the luxury editions, I’ve forgotten the nomenclature. I have Battery 3, Battery 4, Kontakt 8 and other NI Synths which make use of and have their own sample libraries.
After properly installing Massive XL and choosing Generate, currently, Massive XL defaults to a location with absolutely no samples present.
I also have Roland Cloud, many Roland SP404MKII sample packs, Ableton Live and many of its default samples and samples associated with many of its sample-based packs installed. Latest of each software suite.
At the very minimum, Generate in Massive XL should default to browsing in the default folder for Kontakt 8 and Battery 4’s samples, as a baseline for resources to draw from to generate new patches.
Why it was released without doing so is a real mystery to me. Is there something wrong with the way I’ve installed it?
This is an issue both in the Windows 11 and MacOS environments I am operating in. I haven’t done anything unique or custom in the way I’ve set up all my music software.
I would appreciate some kind of response from the AMA team for Massive XL.
Thanks,
Steven
