DJM-900NXS2 and Traktor Pro 4: Custom Channel Assignment Issue

Hi everyone,

I recently upgraded from an Intel MacBook Pro to an M4 Mac and updated Traktor Pro 3 to version 4. Now I can't assign my four decks to different mixer channels as before.

I used two X1 MK2 controllers, with decks A/B on channels 2/3 and C/D on channels 1/4. In Traktor Pro 4, the assignments seem fixed, and changing them results in no sound.

Everything is up to date. Is there a way to restore custom channel assignments on this setup?

That should actually work as it did before. You likely just need to go back into the Traktor settings and correctly route the input and output channels.

Edit: Also, check your Mac's security settings to ensure that you have granted Traktor access to the microphone in case it doesn't work with the correct channel routing alone.

Edit: Have you downloaded and installed the latest driver for the 900NXS2? Also, you might want to check the setup utility for your Pioneer mixer to ensure everything is configured correctly.
