Maschine with Traktor

Question

I want to connect Traktor and Maschine so I can play a track in Traktor while launching loops from Maschine.

I connect them via Ableton Link, and the connection is established, but they are not perfectly synchronized. They stay in time, but the kick drums are not aligned.

If I use Ableton Link to connect Maschine and Ableton Live, everything works perfectly.

However:

* Maschine and Traktor are not properly synchronized.
* Ableton Live and Traktor are not properly synchronized.

Could you please help me solve this issue?

By the way, everything is running on the same PC with an Intel i7 processor and 16 GB of RAM.

Currently, I create my own loops and convert them into Remix Sets for the Remix Decks. However, I always like to try new things, so I wanted to integrate Traktor with Maschine or Ableton and see how it works.

The problem is that I'm running into this issue, even though I can see that many people are doing it successfully.

By the way, I managed to fix the timing issue in Maschine by changing the ASIO buffer size. I've been using my PC's built-in sound card, so I'm wondering if this problem might not occur with an external audio interface.

i havent used traktor for quite some time, but i think you can move the grid in small increments either in a positive direction or in the negative direction inside traktor

alternatively using midi clock instead of ableton link… allows for offsetting the midiclock sync on the maschine side

you also need to realise Traktor analyses each audio-track, and makes a best guess on where it thinks the downbeat and grid should be… so each audio-track will require adjusting

If your loops are just audio I will recommend using Remix Decks instead of (and only if bugs has been fixed)
