ROOTS Choral Fragments - VST3 NKS presets
I've put together an NKS user library for Westwood's free ROOTS Choral Fragments, with help from Codex, and tested it in Komplete Kontrol on macOS.
The ZIP includes all 11 factory presets, matching audio previews, tags, NI Resources artwork, and an HTML installation guide. The ten working controls have meaningful names and are mapped across two pages:
Page 1: Glitch, Formant, Phoneme, Attack, Release, Stretch, Volume, Tune.
Page 2: Echo, Reverb.
As a blind musician, this makes the instrument much easier to use: I can browse its sounds and adjust the mapped controls through Komplete Kontrol without navigating the plug-in's interface.
One small limitation in Roots 1.0.1: its Trans Pitch automation parameter reports changes but does not affect the sound, so I have left it out of the mapping. Each preset still recalls its correct factory transposition.
Merge User Content into your NI user library, merge NI Resources into its usual location, then rescan. The guide in the ZIP has the paths and knob layout.
