Still Cannot connect Maschine+ to MacBook in Storage Mode

I have looked at all of the treads concerning this issue but cannot find a definitive solution.

My Maschine+ is only sporadically visible to my MacBook in storage mode even if I restart both units with the USB lead connected. Sometimes my MacBook drops the USB connection and gives a warning about removing a drive without ejecting.

This problem has not appear to have been addressed even though several users have raised tickets.

Has anybody found a real solution to this, am I being thick or should I raise a ticket with NI?

Update: I just tied a new USB lead connected directly to the MacBook and not using a hub. The connection took a couple of minutes for Maschine+ to appear in finder and appears stable. I have successfully ejected Maschine+ from the computer and reconnected from storage mode without rebooting either device or disconnecting the USB cable. Again, it took a couple of minutes to appear in Finder but appears stable. Thank you for your help.

@Simon Gwynn Have you tried with a different USB cable, a different USB slot on your computer? With a USB hub? Is your Macbook connected to power when this happens?

Sometimes my MacBook drops the USB connection and gives a warning about removing a drive without ejecting.

Is this happening after certain manipulations or using certain apps or programs?

Hi Jeremy, thanks for your quick response. In answer to your question, it happens if I go to storage mode whilst working on a project or if I restart Maschine+ and go immediately to Storage mode. I have tried different USB leads and rebooting the MacBook.
