Just trying to use as a midi controller on this machine… see attached image for full details.
Works fine on my MacOS machine.. but Win11 seems I must be missing something.
@Jeremy_NI yes, thx.. I did find I need to install the Maschine software.. and that resolved..

please check that all background services are running that you need for maschine tp operate with windows, the. "hardware service" or "hardware agent" and something with "NIhost....". Just press ctrl+alt+del and select the task manager.

But Native Access indictes these are related to the MK3 keyboards.. I'm just trying to use M+ as a midi controller. Is there perhaps something else that requires installation?

As far as I know then the Hardware Connection Service has nothing to do with Maschine+ , that is the NIHardware Service and the HostIntegrationagent . The HCS I think so far is only for the Komplete Kontrol S-Series MK3 keyboard.
Have you tried re-installing latest Maschine 3 ? including the Maschine+ driver ? (it is Maschine 3 that installs the 'Maschine package' )

@Martin Schmid What version of the Maschine desktop software is running on your Windows laptop? even if you use it just as a MIDI controller you still need to install the Maschine software to use it. and yes the Hardware Connection Service is only here for the Kontrol S mk3 keyboard.
