Kontakt 8 Player doesn't show libraries correctly .

I'm having issues with the Kontakt 8 Player:
-Issue 1: I have a problem displaying the library called Electri6ity. (It is listed and enabled in Options -> Libraries. It doesn't show up in the actual list in the Kontakt UI.)
-Issue 2: The libraries I explicitly disabled in Options -> Libraries still show up in the list.

Context:
-I'm on Windows 10.
-Earlier Kontakt versions(6,7) have neither of these problems.
-I tried deleting the Kontakt folders in AppData\Local, and I also tried deleting the files in the installed_products folder. The issue still persists.
-I can load individual instruments by using the Load option and navigating the Windows folders. (Which is obviously a bullshit workaround that shouldn't be the solution.)

Any help?

The support article illustrates how a user may add any other library to this browser as well.

was just looking to correct statements about it not being possible - the inverse is true. It should all be in order, but given the message about file paths - it may suggest a customer support issue (e.g. non-default folder locations and/or read/write permissions etc).

If OP has not already - please submit a ticket via our support channels.

Unless a library is specifically designed as NKS and (ideally) for Kontakt 8 - it will never show in the Libraries view.

This library dates to 2010-2011 and does not conform to modern standards - you will need to load it the old fashioned way. (via the Files tab in Classic view)

Then why the hell is it listed in the Options as a selectable library?

And other libraries are arbitrarily listed or omitted regardless of which library is enabled or disabled in Options. (Ticking it doesn't affect the Libraries view at all, which is abnormal behavior in Kontakt 8.)

Even if what you're saying is true, there is a UI error on Kontakt's side.

When I try this, it says "Duplicate Paths (One or more of the selected folder paths have already been imported."

I found out that switching from Default View to Classic View makes the library appear in the sidebar in the Player view:

I don't know what the hell is going on, but I assume it's not expected behavior.

Respectfully - Firstly - I misunderstood the install method of this library (via Native Access). That is on me. and my suggestion about the Files tab is wrong.

However - secondly - the point I was trying to make is that it sounds to me - judging from the OPs frustration

That just because this product is installed via Native Access - he is somehow expecting this library to show here:

By default. Which it clearly does not.

And while offering that "import" article - is helpful - that is extra knowledge that Joe Average would not know - AND BTW - doesn't not work for every library out there either.

I see the OP did get it working in Classic view - which is what I would expect for any circa-Kontakt 5 based instrument.

How exactly? There seems to be no channel (which led me to this community question in the first place).

The "Contact Us", "Support" menus just circle back to the same page, and the only one I can talk to is AI(Riff).
