I've been waiting 8 days for my Kontakt 8 full license to be activated? I'm unable to do anything. Does anyone know what I should do next?..
What - exactly - have you done so far?
Activation happens in Native Access - quickly. VP
I've tried everything… I keep getting shunted to the InMusic A.I. I've explained everything and given them proof of purchase but nothing seems to happen?
Oh! I should've put my support ticket number with this post…
@Jeremy_NI
@Cliona_NI
Please help…

@Philip Wallis This won't help with the missing licence, but in case you're not aware you don't need full Kontakt if you're only using Native Instruments libraries. The full version is only needed for third party libraries that aren't licensed through Native Access. You can go deeper into editing with some NI libraries, but in general all regular UI-based features of a licensed product are available with Player. Not sure if that's enough to get you working before the full license is resolved.
Bear in mind that it's Saturday and support/customer service don't work over the weekend so it's unlikely you'll get a full resolution until Monday at the earliest.
I need it for 3rd party… but thanks, it's nice to hear from someone real…
PoorFellow… I'm sorry if I've broken any rules I was told to do this by Google A.I. I just want some some sort of solution to an almost $500 investment which has yielded me so far absolutely nothing… I don't want to cause any trouble, I just want what I have paid for.
Your frustration is understandable , and it is correct that Jeremy_NI from NI forum Customer Care can take a look once he is back to work Monday or later. But someone should learn that Google A.I. that spamming the forum by posting same issue in multiple threads is still not allowed.
Anyway , let us hope that you have this problem fixed soon 🙂
What everything ?
If this is a new purchase then firstly please check your account if the product lists as either Registered or as Not Registered on your account page. If it lists on your account then make sure that you are logged into the same account in using latest version of Native Access for your OS .
If the product does not list on account then make sure that the order is not stuck and actually went through. Also make sure that you bought the correct product e.g. an update or cross-grade needs a base product where as a new full version purchase do not require any base product.
Else try the following Trouble shooter here : My Products Are Showing As DEMO in Native Access, especially '2. Your activation fails because of corrupted or missing activation tokens' and '3. You have corrupted XML files' (delete both NA XML and Kontakt product XML) then restart computer and log in again to see if that helps .
As a personal note then unless people are not interested in other bundle products then I always advice people to buy Komplete Standard rather than individual products since it's a much more economic way of acquiring a collection of NI Komplete products.
Tried all of the above… I guess I wait till Monday…
The best thing to do right now is - if you want to know where you stand - is check your master Ni account online. If all is well - Kontakt 8 will appear under Registered Products. If it appears under Unregistered- you have other issues. VP
Unregistered… that was how I discovered I had a problem…
Can you walk us through what you did 8 days ago? Did you buy Kontakt? Upgrade?
Did you receive exactly 4 emails in a 10-12 minute span after purchase?
What do you see in Order history?
VP
On the 31st July I purchased Kontakt 8 Full. I had been using Kontakt 7 player and had downloaded 8 player but seldom if ever used it. I paid through Paypal and received an email from NI online shop acknowledging the order. A second order confirmation a third shipping info and a fourth Claiming to be download details (this yielded nothing but Native Access again which I installed in case of it being updated.) My order history clearly states I have purchased Kontakt 8 Full.
What does it say under Details?
And - what exact version of Windows 11 are you using? Click Start→Run and type:
