So, a couple of a years ago, I went into doing most of my work in Ableton Live. I've found the environment to be very freeing coming from Maschine. But, the workflow, no matter how well I set it up, is not like Maschine to me. Maschine is much more creator-intuitive. Great for getting started, as most of us know. So I'm starting to try to work more with Maschine loaded as a VST in Ableton.
Well, one of the things that I've been doing is loading a sample into Ableton in Warp Mode, fixing the tempo and making sure everything is on beat for chopping, then I drag the edited file into Serato Sample, so that if I decide to isolate or remove a stem, I can do so, and automate that if need be.
The warping right now is key. Getting samples to fit the tempo and be consistent is huge. Is something like that possible to add to the Maschine software?
