Maschine 3.6 is here

Maschine 3.6 is now available.

This update brings NKS Connect support to Maschine, starting with AKAI MPK mini IV as the first compatible partner controller. With NKS Connect, supported controllers can use NKS Mode in Maschine for hardware browsing, preset loading, parameter control, and parameter page navigation.

Maschine 3.6 also adds new performance workflows for compatible NKS Connect controllers, including Pad Mode, Keyboard Mode, Bank A/B sound access, and pinned Sound workflows.

In addition, this release introduces a new Welcome Screen on startup with access to Maschine demo projects and tutorial video links, redesigned UIs for the Audio, Poly Synth, and Drum Synth modules, continued Mixer view redesign work, and fixes for startup stability, preset browsing by category, and Kontrol S-Series MK2 level meters in Cubase on Windows.

it's time for time signature changes! MPC can do both tempo/time changes, there's no reason you shouldn't be able to do it within Maschine.

And please add an "Audio Mute" on/off option for Groups as well ! :)

Sounds can switch between trigger mute and audio mute, but Groups always cut off reverb, delay, and sample tails when muted. Giving Groups the same option would provide consistent behavior and make live performance easier.

is it me or is there a bug with full velocity on Maschine plus?

Playing with the pads after setting 127 for full velocity works ok. Standalone and in software. But in the software, when having 127 full velocity enabled, clicking with the mouse defaults to 100. If my memory serves me right if full velocity is enabled , clicking with the mouse also went to 127.
Did the standalone and software updates, osx also, native access also. Ps there is this “trick” I saw on Google you could change the velocity by holding the mouse after 2nd click and drag up and down but doesn’t work.

No, the mouse has always been stuck on 100, unfortunately.

My Mac was in repair for a long time and I had to reinstall, and I wasn’t sure about it anymore.

Thought it behaved as I described but i was wrong. Still it would be cool to have that possibility in prefs. Like default mouse velocity=127. Thanks once more 🙏

Not a particularly useful update, v2 is still better at this point, but it is an update, so be thankful for that at least.

Use Lock States for everything.

You can automate Lock States

Place them in step sequencer

Play in keyboard mode or on a touch strip.
