S61 to S88, New drivers installation

Hi everyone,

I'd like some advice on the best way to proceed. I sold a Kontrol S61 MK3 and purchased an S88. My question is this: since I already have all the programs installed, are the S88 drivers already present on my PC? If not, how do I download them?

I also wanted to uninstall the S61 drivers. I have Windows, but I can't find them among my PC's peripherals. How do I uninstall them? I don't want to have any problems when the S88 arrives.

@DanBeat The drivers are plug and play, you don't need to install the drivers, and in your case they are installed already. Make sure that the keyboard has the latest firmware and that you are using the latest version of the Hardware Connection Service.

Also then as far as I know then the S88 MK3 needs to use a Power Supply, especially when updating firmware.

I think it depends what you're connected to? I've never used a PSU with my MK3 and it works fine even when doing firmware updates

I have a powered USB hub, it worked well with the s61, I hope it will also suffice with the s88

The power requirements of the two boards are the same so you should be ok
