What happened to my Komplete Control. I now get this when opening and I cannot make the message about Kontakt go away. I have a paid version of Kontakt not the Player.
There should have been an X to close the pop up in top right corner I think.
Try opening Kontakt standalone first to see if that helps.
Else try increasing screen resolution for the duration of the operation to see if that shows the X.

Very good hint from PoorFellow here. The Whats New Message Box looks cut off at the top and bottom. So it might indeed help to either change the resolution, or to open Kontakt in standalone mode and close the message box there. Or even easier: Go to Komplet Kontrol "3-dot Menu" and choose View>Edit View. This should show you the full UI of Kontakt and reveal the whole message box including its close button, so you can close it. From then on it should not appear anymore. Cheers

For info to forward to the Kontakt team, could you let us know a bit more on your set up? What monitor/dispaly do you have and what settings?
If you open Kontakt 8 in standalone, are you able to see the "X"?
If you open Kontakt 8 inside Logic, are you able to see the "X" ?
