.
P.S.
This makes one wonder how much is going to be moved , I mean they could plan to merge the NI store into the inMusic store in a not so distant future… 🤔 I mean why else are they going to move the support pages in the first place. Then if they merge the shops then of course it will be interesting to see what happens to the forum…
But of course then it could be that this support pages move only reflects how NI customers are going to be 'supported' and might not have anything to do with at what web address the shop is located..
Are they moving it though, or just adding it to their site because people might look there now, rather than here (not that people even bother looking here, based on some of the posts 🤣).
I hope you are right…
It's also possible that the InMusic page is "fed by" the NI pages. They could even be using AI to do that so as to avoid having to assign any humans to that task.
It also appears to be mostly only "one layer thick". Or two layers thick if you're counting the page of "support tiles" as a layer. But once you click one of those topics, you're at the deepest level you can be at and still be in the InMusic ecosystem. Clicking more links will just take you back to the appropriate NI web page.
I worked for a company that did something like this. We called it "customer self service", and it was part of our CI/CD development ethos.
The difference was that ours would engage some form of automation, whereas the InMusic construct is mostly just an FAQ page.
Well, there is a transition period but all new requests for NI products are to be done here from now on: https://support.native-instruments.com/support/home
