Komplete Kontrol has vanished from Plugin Manager in Logic

Komplete Kontrol has vanished from the plugin list and from the Plugin Manager in Logic. It is still installed on my Mac and I can open it is standalone. I have tried:

1. Closing Logic, opening Kontrol, closing Kontrol and then opening Logic
2. Removing the component from the folder, opening Logic, closing Logic and then putting the component back.
3. Reinstalling Kontrol from Native Access.

I don't know what else to do but I have projects that have used Kontrol so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Removing the component from the folder, opening Logic, closing Logic and then putting the component back.

This is not enough . You must do a full plugin scan for the remove plugin to work and put back and do a new plugin scan. Also when people have problems like this then it is sometimes because that people have the plugin in more places on OS and fail to remove them on all places prior to plugin scan , so double check that plugin is not in more places.

Can you check in this location? Macintosh HD > Library >Audio > Plug-Ins > Components

It might be good to reset Logic to it's default settings:

Method 1: Using the in-app reset
1. Open Logic Pro.
2. From the top menu, click Logic Pro and select Settings (or Preferences).
3. Choose the Reset All Settings Except Key Command Assignments option.
4. You will be prompted to save your custom key commands. Choose to save them or not, depending on your preference. 

Method 2: Manually deleting preference files
1. Quit Logic Pro.
2. Open Finder.
3. Click Go in the menu bar, then hold down the Option key to reveal Library, and select Library.
4. Go to the Preferences folder.
5. Find and delete the following file by moving it to the Trash:
◦ com.apple.logic.pro.plist
6. Empty the Trash.
