Dont mean to be a hater, the verdict is positive but some stuff just not what it could be.
Battery 4 Doesn't Load in Logic
Korg Legacy Collection - I would have returned this controller if I had not tried these - poly is awesome (whereas the various provided NI bloatware made of scraps no one wants is useless)
Annoying giant graphics of plants etc - creative director ate too much acid
Nothing mapped to slider - often instead cuts off sound - weak - had to change it to 13 in settings - still must manually map for all - even Triton was better
Loading plugs or VIs that have 20-30 pages is arcane = useless - hire someone to make correct templates - place main tweaks on page one
make menus scroll in both directions in browser
The solution to have names automate rather than always be seen needs rethink
Having main selection knob second position VS first can cause too many wrong selection moves of other - forces too much thought to use.
Main takeaway- Almost returned due to Hypha!!!!!! - Korg Legacy Collection saved it - foretells Korg or other brand might kill this controller soon unless NI ships with actual synths or not just rely on sample based with no poly.
But despite that the keybed is great so I will keep it. Just hoping more updates and more integrations continue to add value.
Not sure why NI would not just dump the bargain basement boatload of #$%#$@ apps and include Absyth or something!
