Komplete Control Stuck On Installing

I installed all of my NI sounds on my new Windows 11 system, but it is stuck on Komplete Kontrol. At the bottom of the screen, it is stuck on "Installing Komplete Kontrol" and the status bar keeps "swishing" back and forth. It will not move past this point.

I have closed out of the NI app, restarted it and download it again and it does the same thing. I've also shut down and restarted, and it is still doing the very same thing.

Any suggestions? I need to be able to use this plugin with Cakewalk Sonar. Thank you.

Windows 11 (Virtual)

Windows 11 (Virtual) ? If you are using a virtual machine then I am not sure if the NI software can install or if it will work. The below instructions is for normal Windows installations.

Try this :

Exit N.A.

Check if there is any Komplete Kontrol to uninstall in Windows app list , if it is there than uninstall it.

Uninstall Native Access

Delete the Native Access folder from %AppData%\Native Instruments\

Delete content from your chosen N.A. download folder

Run the NI reg tool and remove Komplete Kontrol if there

Reboot computer (important)

Then download latest version of Native Access for your OS and install as an Admin

Turn off your AV ! (Komplete kontrol and other N.I. app installers makes a self-copy operation while installing that could make your AV react possibly without telling you. )

Re-install Komplete Kontrol using N.A.

The above procedure hopefully should both reset N.A. and allow for installation of KK.
