Maschine+ does not properly "save with samples"

Question

I'm using the hardware M+ standalone. I have had issues since upgrading to Version 3, and now I cannot 'save with samples' properly. I usually save projects, with samples - and then load the SD card into my computer to make backups of my projects, however I was working on a project the past two days, and when I looked at my backup - it had 1 sample in it, instead of 120+ samples.

So I did a second save - this added two folders to the sample folder, but did not save the entire set of samples.

So I did a third try - and gave the project a new name adding V4 to it. This was yet again slightly different, but did not have the samples in there.

Saving with samples should work everytime without fail - has anyone else had this issue?

First try looked like this: note V2 is an older version of the project. I did save that one a few times without saving samples. Then saved V3 WITH samples, but as you can see, the folder has one lone sample and a folder.

Each version is different, and none of them make sense, and now I don't want to turn off my hardware because of this. It simply will not save WITH samples, even though I have that setting selected.

I've been doing some testing, and the save feature is entirely broken - not sure if anyone else has this same issue. But I saved a project tonight, and right after decided to do a 'save with samples + delete unused samples" to see what that would do. It's sample folder was missing a bunch of samples, which makes sense, except an entire Groups samples, which 'were used' was missing.

I reloaded my first save, and it's fine, but that second one isn't one I can just transfer to my computer and start using, because it's missing stuff.

I know there are likely some best practices to always follow, and I'm trying to establish those for my workflow, but NI should fix this. Anyone should be able to save a project with all it's samples, delete unused samples and then copy that project as a 'self contained thing' to the computer, or vice versa.

But you can't. The save options do not work as they should and it's a serious bug.

I think these issues tend to happen when I leave the M+ on for extended periods of time.

Last night, I tried saving the groups individually with samples, to preserve my project. That also did not work. I swapped out the SD card, and tried to format another card to save the project on that, but the card did not format initially, eventually it did format, and it would say that the project saved, but checking it on the computer, the SD card was blank. Nothing would save on the new card. Tried another new card, same thing.

Turned the unit off. Loaded the project (which had no samples in it's folder) and it did find all the samples, obviously loading them from the few previous versions of the project. This time when I did save with samples, it did work, and I made a backup.
