Guitar Rig 7 Pro VST3 Plugin dont work in Ableton

Hello Native Instruments,

I bought your Software Bundle, Guitar Rig 7 Pro.

My NI- Guitar Rig, works fine in Standalone Mode.

But in my Ableton Live 12 DAW, I can see it but can't get a Signal

from my Guitar.

I use the VST3 Folder and the VST2 Folder, how to work with, from

a Native Instruments Video.

My other VST3 Plugin, from Arturia works fine.

Yes that's the solution. Guitar Rig Pro is an effect, you need to load it on an audio track in Ableton and click Auto or In to be able to hear the audio coming in, with any audio effect or without effect.

I am not customer service, just a member of the community.

Have you checked to make sure your input on the track in Ableton was selected to the Audio Interface Input that you've plugged the guitar into? that's the first hing I would check.

sorry I have a question.

Is the base of the Guitar Rig Plugin, a Audio or a Midi Thing?

I have two different infos about that.

If I do it with Audio, I have a Signal on my track, like a normal Synth I use.

If I do it with Midi, I see my Plugin, but no signal.

Again, I'm not customer service, and I don't know Ableton Live, at all.

If you're plugging your guitar into the audio interface and have Guitar Rig "inserted" onto a track as an assigned plugin - that track should be an AUDIO track - not a MIDI track.

MIDI is a computerized digital language keyboards and music gear use to send signals back and forth. It's more like a notation sequencing thing than audio, like a guitar signal.
