Drums choked in Steven Slate Drums?

I am using Maschine M3 in MIDI mode to control the SSD plugin. I am however getting a choked sound on my drums, most noticeable on cymbals. Even when very lightly touching the pad, I seem to get a 'sound' associated with choke function. In SSD you can have choking as separate function, but I don't why I get it also when programming a certain pad only for i.e. crash. Does anyone know what I need to reconfigure?

please check the MIDI template and every pad, that only hit is assigned a note and press is set off

Thank you! I had Press function set to Poly, so I put it to off as suggested, and now it works as expected.
