echo effect on output

I would like to know if it is possible to set an echo effect on the output of a single stem. I have set the F1 so that each key corresponds to a stem, but I would like to apply an echo effect on the output when I press the aforementioned key. Thank you very much.

Check your Slot FX On controls. I have similar Xone K2 mapping in works that I'm about to post soon. Then you can simply download and remap your F1.

I think if you hold shift, the four white buttons correspond to the fx slot on/off of each stem

They are orange when turned on. i think. They are exactly the same buttons for remix decks.

OP wants to incorporate "FX Stem Solo" and Echo freeze in a single button. Default mapping for the F1 is not practical on that aspect.

Ah, yes it's not practical.

Best to use the mute buttons for that, without shift.

The way i understand it, the result is to activate FX Unit (#X, single mode) Delay ON, Freeze ON (echo out) + Channel FX (#X) ON + Stem subchannel ON + other Stem subchannels OFF.

The shift function would be really cool in this sense. I've been looking for a way to integrate it into various mappings as simply as possible for quite some time now.

Example use case: muting a single stem track, but always combined with an effect. Echo freeze and/or reverb freeze would be well-suited for this. The advantage here would be that you could even miss the best timing in the song a little bit without it sounding cut off or harsh (removing something is always more noticeable than adding it).

Now for the shift function: it would be great if you could use the same buttons (+ shift) but convert it into a solo state. So, the stem track that would simply be muted without shift is now soloed, and all three other stem tracks are muted with the desired effect.

So far, so good in theory. In practice, this has always been very cumbersome for me because I can't really get anywhere if I want to reverse the behavior while playing. That is, after applying a scenario, I want to add it back in instead of muting it or switch to different stem tracks while playing (on/off). I don't see how I'm supposed to manage that, to turn the effects off again and potentially apply them again later.

@Stevan Let me know when you have the K2 mapping. It would be great to have, or rather, to see, just this single application example for a deck. Then I'll probably be able to figure out how to integrate it into existing mappings.

For this reason i concluded it is best (for me) to have every one of those functions listed not be a singular trigger. Each one should have it's own hardware control, directly available without shift and in a way so i can use each of my fingers, preferably from a single hand, press the appropriate ones when needed. The rest is training muscle memory. No confusion what's ON and what's not when properly spaced on a controller, like the F1. With intuitive LED feedback. Even with 1button multiFX mappings, i tend to fine tune and adjust the parameters with dedicated FX controls.

Why solo with one button when you can press 3 buttons that are right next to each other with three fingers? No confusion.

So, you mute say drums. Where do you want the FX activate? On the just muted drums? I don't understand. Or do you want the FX to activate on the drums before you cut them out with an FX tail?

Those sound like they could work in the following actions.

Button Tap = Stem Mute + FX
Button Hold (more then a sec) = Stem Solo + FX

Case scenario for this is muting say Drum Stem while echo out other three Stems? And Solo say Vocal Stem and also apply an effect at the same time?
