Hello,
I am having difficulty figuring out how to make the Pads in my Kontrol S2 going back to it's default state, here is what I have so far:
By default, when Pad1 has a cue point assigned, it lights up color Blue and when you press Pad1 it lights up a stronger color Blue. I am trying to extend Pad1 functionality by making Pad1 to turn ON/OFF effect in Traktor, so I have a Modifier1 assigned to SAMPLES button that changes it's state from 0 to 1 and then it goes back from state 1 to 0 when pressing SAMPLES again.
When Modifier1 state is 1, Pad1 lights up Lime color and now I can turn ON/OFF effect in Traktor by pressing Pad1 and when effect is ON Pad1 lights up a brighter Lime color and when effect is OFF it goes back to a lighter Lime color. So far so good.
Now I press SAMPLES button again, and Modifier1 state goes from state 1 back to state 0 BUT Lime color does not go away and stays there and it still functions as a Cue point and it goes a brighter Lime color when pressed, but I would like it to go back to it's default Blue color, how would I do that?
Now I have tried to set Modifier1 Out function to output Blue color on Pad1 when Modifier1 state is 0 BUT when pressing Pad1 it does not light up a stronger Blue color and just stays the same brightness when pressed so I am compromising the functionality, HOWEVER there is a workaround this issue, when Modifier1 is back to state 0, if I press the SHIFT button on the controller, it goes back to it's default Blue color and it lights up as it should when I press Pad1.
Is there a way to make Pad1 go back to it's default state without having to press SHIFT every time?
