hi, can i set a small sample frase using an effect button? i want it to play the same thing over mya a and b decks so i wont have to change decks each time i want to use it (d or c), thanks!
There is the Loop Recorder (Top left GUI box, can be switched between FX Units 1/3 and LoopRec). Have you tried?
ok just record a sample, now how can i trigger it with my s4 mk3 controller?
Only MK2 has loop recorder controls. Only the GUI is available, unless you map the loop recorder commands to something.
You can pull the sample into a remix cell and then trigger the sample via cell pad (see Remix Deck for S4 Manual), but you have to drag and drop with mouse from either loop rec GUI window or from a deck (drag title) that has a loop (of any size) set. You can also use inbuilt commands with the Community Performance Mod for the S4MK3 (link in traktor forum and my signature) that has additional remix deck controls not listed in the official manual.
Note: The one thing you can't set is sample SYNC (as opposed to remix deck SYNC). To do that, expand the Remix deck to extended size (via preferences or double click the deck header of a track deck), trigger the sample once with the mouse and then select SYNC in the expanded remix cell options.

There is'nt a way to just map it to an effect button and enable it at any time just by pressing the 'on' button on the mixer? If there is a way please sent me a link or a video so i could map it, thanks .

Read the text. ESPECIALLY read the installation instructions. And read the section REMIX DECK FEATURES, which explains what to do to select the deck where the loop is coming from (Capture Source) and how to select the sample cell where the loop is supposed to land.
You absolutely have to learn how the remix deck works. (TP4 Manual)
If you don't want to read about that, go to youtube, native instruments home page and look for videos that explain it. You will still need to do some reading though.
If you know how it all works, it's easy. Because it's all pretty logical, no rocket science. But it requires some effort to learn. As noted previously, the manuals are really excellent.
