is it possible for two different"xy" elements to have different colors within the same ensemble? also, is there a way to make the colors change automatically? if so, could you please explain how to do it? (Reaktor 6.4.5)
first question , no
Second question also no , colours that are defined in the top level instr. settings can not be adjusted in realtime .
Guess you're going to have to make your own x-y module in core , + multidisplay module ( which is not beginner's level )
What about simply stacking an XY on top of a multidisplay?

Sorry the gif is a bit nervous.
It might be possible to create another instrument with the xy module and add it within your existing ensemble although I haven't tried that.
You can also simply go into the XY properties, view and set Transparency to 100% and then you just need a background image behind your XY any color you want.
(Oh that's what AlexPH did but with a multidisplay behind!)
IC, you mean create a solid color underneath the transparent xy. Like use the RGB lamp a set its size to match the xy in size. Is that your getting at?
I was more thinking of an image, bmp or else with the picture module but yah, many ways to do it.
