Active location in library resets to 1st track in library when opening browser in TP4.5

Question

For the longest time, if I open the browser from my Kontrol S4 Mk3, it's opened at the last location I have loaded a track from.

Now, when I open the browser, the selected track resets to the very top of my library. This completely ruins my workflow in Traktor. I have tracks sorted by Key and then BPM, which helps me locate tracks that will mix well as soon as I open the browser. Now I have to navigate back to that location manually, which totally takes me out of a flowstate. I need this fixed.

Any ideas?

…and consistency checking hasn't removed all the duplicates, and they're not duplicated files. What even is going on?

Since when did Traktor get to the stage where I'm not confident relying on it in a performance situation? This does not bode well.

That's crazy. What's the workaround, totally disable locked decks?

I've also realised why the selected track keeps jumping to the top of the library. At some stage, Traktor has decided to duplicate a whole bunch of my tracks, and then when you load one, it somehow realises it's duplicated, and then gets rid of the duplicate.

About to run a consistency check on my collection now, but holy crap, this is a really bad user experience for flagship DJ software, especially when using the flagship controller as well.

Sadly an old bug that pops up again and again :(
