I've recently built a new audio PC. I have multiple midi devices connected (3 synths, KK S61 mk2, Maschine Mikro Mk2, Icon Platform M+); when connecting, I was very specific about the order, ensuring that each remains in its original USB slot, and checking that each worked after initial install before moving to the next.
Initially, the KK installed with multiple entries for "Komplete Kontrol DAW -1" under software devices in Device Mgr - and orange warning symbols under "Other Devices" for "Komplete Kontrol S61 Mk2 BD" and "Komplete Kontrol S61 Mk2 DFU".
After researching, the best fix to remove these warnings was to: uninstall "KK S61 Mk2 BD" and "…DFU" from "Other devices", "KK S61 Mk2" and "BomeMIDI: KK DAW - 1" from "Sound, video and game controllers", and "KK DAW - 1" from "Software devices". I then uninstalled Komplete Kontrol application, and reinstalled via Native Access.
After this, the warnings were gone, and I can see the KK in Cubase and it mostly works, but I can't use the transport/jog wheel on the KK in Cubase, which is a pain I'd love to fix!
I believe this is related to there being no DAW entry in MIDI Port Setup (see grabs). But after copious searching, cannot find this as an issue anywhere else.
I'm going around in circles and would really appreciate if anyone can cast some light here!!
