Instrument selection and types/characters filters strange behaviour?

Hello, i've encountered some strange and unexpected behaviour in the Maschine 3.5 library browser, that might even be a bug?

When selecting a specific instrument, f.e. Retro Machines mk2, it shows a "cloud" of "types" and "characters" to filter the presets of the selected instrument. If I click f.e. "brass" I get a nice list of all brass presets in Retro Machines. This is logical and expected behaviour.

Now i deselect "brass" and the full infiltered list of presets shows up again, all as expected. But now when I select "Kits" in the types-cloud, all of a sudden my instrument selection changes to "All instruments" and it shows presets from all my instruments, instead of my selected Retro Machines intrument. When I deselect "kits" it goes back to Retro Machines again. Huh????

Effectively, this feels totally counter-intuitive and strange. Basically, when filtering for a specific instrument, it should NOT show types and characters that are not available in that instrument.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there a setting I've missed? Is this a bug?

I think it's strange that the tag clouds for selected by Maschine 3.5 software and selected by Maschine Controller are showing different results in the first place.

In Maschine 3.5 software, tag "TYPES" shows whole tags.

In Maschine Contro, tag "TYPES" shows related tags.

I think this is a result of the recent changes to allow use with/from the MK3 keyboards…

See other recent posts regarding the "categories" menu on Maschine controllers not working correctly (the menu lists categories, but you cannot select one. It just resets to "all").

Someone in the NI team needs to look at this.
